Dear Colleagues,

It is a great pleasure to invite you to the Conference of the Section of Stereotaxy and Functional Neurosurgery of the Polish Society of Neurosurgeons that will take place in Wroclaw from 23^th to 25^th of September 2021.

Wroclaw is the city where outstanding histologists (Jan Evangelista Purkyně), neurologists (Carl Wernicke, Otfrid Foerster, Ludwik Gutmann), psychiatrists (Alois Alzheimer) and neurosurgeons (Otfrid Foerster) have established the milestones of contemporary neurology and functional neurosurgery. The overall scientific programme will be focused on the recent advances in the neurosurgical treatment of movement disorders, psychiatric diseases and other methods of neuromodulation  concerning the treatment of pain, spasticity, spinal cord injury, psychiatric diseases and epilepsy.

There will be a unique opportunity for participation in panel discussions with experts in neurosurgery, psychiatry, neurology and neurophysiology. You can be sure of advancing your knowledge and renewing old contacts and making new ones.
